Punjab Kings (PBKS) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Match 11 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season, at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.
Chasing a target of 181 runs, CSK were bowled out for 126 in 18 overs.
Shivam Dube smashed a knock of 57 runs off 30 balls, but failed to take his side past the finish line.
Rahul Chahar was in brilliant bowling form for PBKS and took three wickets.
Vaibhav Arora, Liam Livingstone took two wickets each, Kagiso Rabada, Arshdeep Singh and Odeam Smith scalped a dismissal each.
Initially, Punjab posted 180 for eight in 20 overs with Liam Livingstone smashing 60 off 32 balls.
Meanwhile, Chris Jordan and Dwaine Pretorius took two wickets for Punjab.
Mukesh Choudhary, Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja scalped a dismissal each.
Young PBKS bowler had reduced CSK to 23/4, but Shivam Dube and MS Dhoni stood upto the challenge.
While Dube had a fifty, Dhoni struggled to get going and in the end CSK lose big.
