After an embarrassing 3-0 loss that Chelsea endured recently against Leeds and Tuchel apparently blaming the loss on the team’s bus, Christian Pulisic may leave the club. The club has been criticised online by fans and haters alike due to the way Pulisic has been handled.
Reports stated that “Chelsea supporters” claim that Thomas Tuchel, the wildly popular manager that never ceases to reach the headlines, can’t do his job in managing the team well. This is not taking into account that it is due to his management, the team has won the European and World Championships.
Regardless of Tuchel’s controversial headlines in the sports press, he has done a number of milestones for Chelsea, thus making him the mainstay of the club. Pulisic however has not been in the spotlights lately, but he has a solid record from his time in the top division.
Pulisic, one of the few American players in the Premier League, has scored over 50 goals in the Premier League and Bundesliga. These were done ever since he joined Dortmund. Furthermore, back in the United States, he has scored 21 goals and represented his country on the international stage.
The American player is excited to be playing the league before his time in the World Cup. Manchester United, desperate for new players, is considering loaning him for the season.
According to an American journalist, Ben Jacobs said “Pulisic is lacking game-time and a little bit of confidence and needs to play regularly in a World Cup year, so that could be a late move, but that would come as a little bit of a surprise.”
Critics are claiming that Thomas Tuchel is sidelining the American as he lacks the opportunity and support from his manager to shine. In order to tap in his prowess, Pulisic needs more time on the field.
The press stated that Pulisic is considered as a permanent player in Chelsea despite his minimal appearances. There are claims that Hakim Ziyech, another Chelsea player is moving out of the team and as usual Manchester United is involved in it. However, the player is more keen on Ajax instead.
The clock is ticking for all of these players as the transfer window will close on September 1, which leaves them with just a few days.
According to Chelsea News, Pulisic’s future is still unclear, as there are other Premier League clubs still showing interest in him. Chelsea apparently disagreed with the loan deal Manchester United offered them with as they are seen as a direct competitor.
He has sat on the bench in the previous game and it shows that Tuchel does not want him to be in the centre of the team. Pulisic has shown his frustrations by wanting out of Chelsea and it is unclear how Tuchel is going to utilise him during this season.
