Mudryk

It was just yesterday where excitement over Mudryk joining Arsenal was a heated debate among Arsenal fans, unfortunately, the Ukrainian club has declined Arsenal’s overpriced offer for the player. Apparently, the club wants more money in exchange for one of their best players.

According to the Athletic, Arsenal had made Shakhtar an initial bid of €40 million with an additional €25 million in prospective add-ons. The two teams will continue to speak in an effort to find a solution even though the Ukrainian side declined the offer.

The club openly stated they anticipate to get a sum as high as €100 million (£88 million) for the 21-year-old winger, which had been below Shahktar’s initial value.

Prior to switching gears and attempting to sign Douglas Luiz after Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny were forced to withdraw due to injuries, Arsenal had contemplated a summer transfer for the Ukraine international.

One of the most intriguing young offensive prospects in European football is Mudryk. Numerous clubs have been keeping an eye on him, and he nearly moved to Brentford in August during the summer transfer window.

Fans remarks about Mudryk’s transfer being rejected

Fans are stating that the asking price for him is insane, especially for a Ukrainian player. They then added that Shakhtar is not going to get any offers better than what Arsenal was willing to offer them for Mudryk.

The main disagreement for the asking price of him is that he’s only 21-years-old. Fans are claiming that the Ukrainian team is asking for more than what the player is actually worth. In 2018 Ronaldo’s transfer fees were £103 million, and back then he was considered to be at the height of his game.

Others commented in irony as they claimed that inflation is ridiculous to the point that soon in the junior leagues meant for 10 year old kids will start costing teams £100 million to play for them. Arsenal fans have reflected on this and hope that Mikel Arteta would find another player to fill in his shoes.
