The recent NBA franchise saw the Los Angeles Clippers overcome a 26-point that led the Cleveland Cavaliers behind with a record of 120-118. This unbelievable comeback was orchestrated by Paul George.
In a statement, George stated: “It was a collective team win… I can’t take credit for any of it without them. It couldn’t have happened without those guys chipping in and doing what they do.”
After a dreadful first half in which Cleveland scored 40 points in a row to lead 80-59 at the break, the Clippers appeared to be headed for an historic event. George admitted that the team ‘weren’t themselves’ during the first half.
“At that point, I was locked in and committed to do whatever it takes to win,” George declared.

Thanks to the win, the Clippers now have a better chance of earning the fourth seed in the Western Conference.
In a fourth-quarter scoring spree, George scored a game-winning basket with seven seconds left and then made a critical block to keep the Clippers ahead right before the buzzer.
George, who finished with 39 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, and a perfect 16-of-16 shooting performance from the free throw line, put on an amazing comeback show.
More so, team players Ivica Zubac, Terance Mann, and Norman Powell each scored 14 points, while James Harden contributed 22 points.
