An updated list of Individual Neutral Athletes (AINs) who have been granted approval and extended an invitation to compete in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris was made public today by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Along with updated information on the athletes’ decisions regarding their invites, this update shows who has accepted or rejected the chance to compete.
The IOC Executive Board has authorized the IOC administration and the Individual Neutral Athlete Eligibility Review Panel (AINERP) to invite Individual Neutral Athletes (AIN) and their support teams to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
IOC Panel Examines Belarusian and Russian Athletes’ Paris 2024 Eligibility
The Individual Neutral Athlete Eligibility Review Panel (AINERP) was formed by the IOC Executive Board in March 2024 to carefully evaluate the eligibility of athletes with Russian or Belarusian passports, as well as the members of their support staff, to compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
The AINERP and IOC administration have been given permission by the IOC Executive Board to invite individual neutral athletes and their support teams to participate in the forthcoming Games. This crucial choice upholds fairness and Olympic ideals while guaranteeing close examination.
Athletes who wish to compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris must accept a personal invitation and sign the Conditions of Participation, which are the same for all competitors.
Cycling and Road
- For AINs holding a Russian passport, there are three quota spots available: 1 male and 2 female.
- For AINs holding a passport from Belarus, there is one quota spot (0 male / 1 Female).

- The invitation turned down for Alexandr Vlasova (M)
- Invitation accepted for Gleb SYRITSA (M)
Trampoline and Gymnastics
- One spot is reserved for AINs with a Russian passport (0 males and 1 female).
- One male and one female quota spot each for AINs holding a passport from Belarus
Weightlifting
- A Russian passport does not entitle an AIN to quota space.
- There are four quota slots for AINs holding a passport from Belarus (3 men and 1 woman).

Wrestling
- 16 quota spots for AINs with a Russian passport (11 men and 5 women).
- AINs holding a passport from Belarus are eligible for ten quota spots (7 Male/ 3 Female).
