He added: “I feel like I can fight for a championship, I can say that confidently, I have what it takes, some things to work on for sure and I can fight against Max.”

Verstappen won his fourth consecutive championship this season, which solidifies his domination in the Formula 1.

“Max is the best driver in the world and one of the best drivers there has ever been in F1, so to put up a fight against him and go wheel-to-wheel is something I love… He deserves the championship but hopefully I can upset him more next year,” Norris stated.
