According to Sky News, Cristiano Ronaldo wishes to leave Manchester United in order to play in the Champions League but the club, however, insist that the 37-year-old is not for sale and that “there is no change in the club’s position.”

Manchester apparently denied the claims made by the media that it will cancel or terminate Ronaldo’s contract for some reasons.

But one thing is for sure. Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United is being scrutinised further with even more persistent rumors of the latter making a move to leave the club for one that is playing in the Champions League.

The 37-year-current old’s contract expires in 12 months, with an option for another year. Ronaldo has, recently, denied rumors he was leaving the club before the start of the new season.

In a cryptic message on Instagram, Ronaldo slammed critics and the media, telling to report the real news, not fake news.

In the end, Ronaldo is still with Mancheter United though he is also now part of the disastrous start of the season for this prestigious club.

On rumors of a fallout this week between Ronaldo and club officials, the official response from Manchester United is that the Portugal international is not for sale. “There is no change in the club’s position,” said a club spokesperson.

Ronaldo appeared frustrated during United’s 4-0 loss at Brentford on Saturday, which dropped Erik ten Hag’s team to the bottom of the Premier League table.

Meanwhile, it appears that both Inter Milan and AC Milan passed up the chance to sign the Manchester United forward.

Inter Milan and AC Milan were reportedly both interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo. In a new blow, both clubs are said to have passed up the chance to sign the ‘wantaway’ Manchester United star.

In his last tweet dated 11th August, Ronaldo wrote that hard work finally pays off. The veteran player, who played for Manchester United in his debut in the Premier League in August 2003. The Portuguese came on as a substitute in his first official match for Man Utd to beat Bolton 4-0.
