Hirving Lozano

Now that the transfer period has begun, clubs are able to freely transfer players from one club to another. Arsenal has been eyeing on the Ukrainian player, Mykhaylo Mudryk, however his team Shakhtar has proven quite the difficulty for them to acquire. Hirving Lozano seems to be a hopeful bet for the Gunners.

Previously, they have asked a ridiculous amount for a Ukrainian player, this is according to multiple Arsenal fans’ viewpoints. Regardless if the player has potential or not, the price must be according to the achievements and awards that they have won. Similar skilled players are being offered for much lower prices from other clubs.

Furthermore, it appears that Chelsea has registered an interest towards Mykhaylo. According to football.london, Chelsea might agree to pay the asking price of around £60 million, plus another £20 million in add-ons, Chelsea might outbid their rivals to a deal.

It seems that Chelsea is also desperate to get new players to beef up their team. As mentioned before, Graham Potter is in a shaky position and may need all the help he can get in order to retain his position.

Now, Arsenal apparently has found an alternative to Mykhaylo, Hirving Lozano. Lozano is from Napoli. According to news reports, he has caught the eye of Arsenal with his skills being used for his Italian club.

Now that Napoli has not come close to meeting his pay demands, Lozano appears to be pressing for a transfer away from the club. Although Newcastle has also indicated interest, Arsenal believes that he is a genuine target.

The 27-year-old has stated that he wants to play in the Premier League before it’s too late, and his current situation with Napoli may be his last chance to do so.

Lozano then stated, “Yeah – one hundred per cent I want to play in the Champions League.”

“For the last two or three years I’ve been saying that. I’ve been playing consistently well for my club and I feel like I really want to keep pushing.

“I see my friends here (with England at the World Cup), who are playing in the Champions League and competing for big trophies. You only get one career and at the end of it you want to look back at what you’ve won and the biggest games you’ve played in. I really want to do that.”

Fans are more than happy that Arsenal is considering Lozano over Mykhaylo as they claim that he is similar to the Ukrainian but may be purchased at a much more reasonable price. Fans then stated that Mikel Arteta should not stress himself over the Ukrainian and focus on getting better alternatives that are within reach.

However, some are suggesting that Napoli can be a tougher negotiator than the Ukrainian team. There are disagreements on this as Lozano is not one of Napoli’s main players as the likes of Khvicha.

Another stated that Arsenal should not be signing players just for the sake of it. Getting rid of a number of “dead wood” has been challenging to the club and signing more players would prove to place them back to their initial problem. Many would prefer to get the top quality players instead.

Regardless, Arsenal would need to think carefully before spending tens of millions of British Pounds before the transfer period ends. As what fans stated above, these players could have the potential to not help the team. A thorough search for multiple players might be needed in order to beef up the team.
