Arsenal, the team that has powered through this season has unfortunately ended their winning streak after their visit to Old Trafford, Manchester United. A sad loss for Arteta as he engineered the perfect team to score more points for them this season.
After losing the match in a humiliating 3-1 defeat against United, they are sure to recover, says pundits. But Arsenal maintains the lead in the Premier League while Manchester United is now in the 5th place, ahead of Liverpool.
The Brazilian Antony, who the press said will come to Old Trafford with his bravado and the potential feud he may rekindle with his teammates, has instead helped improve Manchester United’s image. United has now won four consecutive games.
Antony, who was purchased from Ajax on 1st September, right on the dot of the transfer deadline for €100 million proved himself after just 35 minutes. He managed to give Manchester United the lead.
