Football is now in its mid-season period. All the teams have almost played half of their matches and the competition is becoming tough. Players whose contract is ending are looking for new contracts or are extending their contracts with their current clubs. Many players are ready to leave the club once the season is over and many are ready to stay with the club.
One such player is Thiago Silva who plays as a Defender for English Club Chelsea. He joined the club on 28 August 2020 on a one-year deal and a second year as an option. His contract was extended till June 2023 which was supposed to end in June 2022.
He’s staying! ?? @tsilva3

Thiago Emiliano da Silva is a Brazilian Football player and a defender born on 22 September 1984 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. He plays as a defender for Brazil and Chelsea and was in the team that won the 2021 Champions League. Silva has scored 4 goals in 40 matches.
Silva is very obliged to play for the English club and is very regular in Tuchels starting lineup. He has the experience that Tuchel requires for the club and is one of his favorites to start. Chelsea plays as number 6 for the club and captains the Brazilian Football Team.
Silva played for Paris Saint-Germain before playing for Chelsea and there he appeared for 204 games and scored 9 games in those matches. Silva also won the 2013 Confederation Cup and was also part of the Brazilian team that won the 2019 Copa America Cup.
Silva recently made his 100th appearance for the Brazil National Team and will continue to pay more for the team. We are hoping that Silva will be representing Brazil in the upcoming World Cup which will be held in Qatar. He has played 56 matches for Chelsea and with the extension of his contract he will be playing further for the club and we would love to see him.
