The English Premier League’s transfer period is coming towards an end on the 1st of September and now, the club managers who should be satisfied with their teams still understand that they may need extra help throughout this upcoming lengthy league.

Currently, the Premier League teams have surpassed the previous highest purchase spending in a season. Over £1.5 billion to be exact. The previous record was £1.43 billion all the way back in 2017.

According to an assistant director in Deloitte, Chris Wood stated ‘The record levels of spending that we’ve seen in this summer transfer window so far provides a sign that the business models of Premier League clubs are rebounding post-Covid.

‘Whilst this is encouraging, the importance of clubs establishing responsible and sustainable spending policies cannot be overstated.

‘Clubs must balance their desire to be competitive on-pitch with the need to protect long-term financial and operational viability.’

Furthermore, according to a British sports site, they have predicted on which players certain clubs should sign right before this period ends and the managers are stuck with their players for good.

Youri, from Leicester is no longer into playing for his current team. It is rumoured that his team is ready to sell him as quickly as possible. Arsenal has been pursuing the Belgian sportsman for a few months. Fans would be jumping in joy if Arsenal managed to come to an agreement with Licester.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles

Ainsley, who is a midfielder from Arsenal, has expressed interest from Bournemouth, which is the team that recently received a 9-0 beating from Liverpool. Arsenal has been adding more players during this season and he may find issues in getting a spot on the field.

He may not be as needed at the Emirates, but he could be potentially crucial for Bournemouth as they’d much prefer to steer away from the relegation zone. Southampton has also expressed interest in purchasing the player, hence the clock is ticking for both of the teams.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Pierre-Emerick who is a seasoned stricker for Barcelona and has an impressive background from Arsenal. He used to play as a forward in the Gunners and is a known figure in the English Premier League.

Chelsea has been on the prowl for new players as well, but even with Thomas Tuchel’s intelligent guidance and strategy when it comes to his team it would be better to add one more seasoned striker.

Todd Boehly, the current chairman of Chelsea has recently joined them and has been aiding in the purchasing of players as per Tuchel’s decisions and recommendations. Another team that is interested in Pierre-Emerick is Manchester United.
