  • Mohammad Hasnain had been included in the Asia Cup 2022
  • The Asia Cup Pakistan campaign will kick off on 28th August.

Mohammad Hasnain is a Pakistani cricketer, just 22 years old right-arm pacer. Currently, in the upcoming T20 series of the Asia Cup, he will replace Shaheen Afridi who has been ruled out due to his knee injury. The tournament is all set to knock its horn against India and as mentioned in earlier details the campaign will begin on 27 August, on Saturday. Which I going to be all exciting and fun to watch.

Hasnain starting few months were not very good during his teenage time, he was banned for his illegal bowling actions, and so far he has played 8 ODI and 18 T20I’s for the men in green. Though his ability to bowl 150kph fast-tracked him into World Squads.

In the shortest format, he has taken 12 wickets in the ODI and 17 wickets and was in action with Oval Invincibles in the Hundred Men competition in England.

Whereas talking about Afridi he has been considered as one of the best bowlers in the world. During the Sri Lanka tour test series match, he has been out in the second match. Also in the ODI series against the Netherlands, he was absent for the first two rounds of the match. But later on a day before the final ODI against Dutch, it was announced that he would be out of the tournament due to a right knee ligament injury.

By the medical team, it has been advised four-six weeks of rest, also he will stay out of action during the home series against England that is going to take place between 20th September and 2nd October.

Pakistan Vice Captain Shadab Khan said for Shaheen Afridi for not being present during the Asia Cup “We are hopeful that we will play in the upcoming future series and World Cup and we’ll play ruthless cricket. Our team culture is that we never relax against the others team”.

This is the 15th edition of the Asia Cup and the teams have been divided into two groups with India and Pakistan teams qualifying in Group A.
