Aaron Judge, a highly sought-after outfielder for the New York Yankees, has received a big new contract. The action follows weeks of what many believed would be a fruitless cat-and-mouse game with the star.
During the month of November, Judge turned down a qualifying offer that would have paid him $213.5 million over the course of seven years.

Judge was rumored to choose to sign with the San Francisco Giants. The franchise spent a lot of time recruiting Judge, who was raised in the adjacent Linden, California, Giants’ fan base. He ultimately made the decision to remain in the Bronx, though.
