Every time LeBron James makes a record for himself, his team, the Lakers, unfortunately suffers the pain of losing a game. In an instance, when he became the first player to reach 40 points, the Lakers lost to the Denver Nuggets. It seems that this has been a curse following James after reaching a scoring feat.

The curse even followed at the All-Star, wherein the West was defeated by the East in the time when James made a record 20th All-Star selection.

These events have been taking a toll on his teammate and championship partner in LA, Anthony Davis. Davis admitted: “You gotta stop breaking records man. Every time you break one we lose.”

James considers this news to be ‘disgusting’, but he surely does not think that extending his set scoring benchmark is not as groundbreaking. One of his team members concluded that only when James officially announces his retirement will his scoring come to an end.

About retirement, James expressed: “I’m not telling nobody. I just won’t show up to work the next day. Nobody’s going to know.”

On the topic of retirement

Retirement is a far thought as of the moment for James, especially now that his dream came true. His elder son, Bronny Hames, is now part of the Lakers team. He is currently enjoying the moments with his son being teammates, a historical journey indeed.

Even though Bronny does not believe that his father can play long enough to share the court with him, it is still an anticipation that the four-time MVP can extend his basketball playing career.
