Boban Marjanović

After being a free agent for a few months, Boban Marjanović re-signed with the Houston Rockets on a one-year deal.

Marjanović was first acquired by the Houston Rockets for the ‘22-‘23 season, in which he played a total of 31 games for the team. He averaged 3.3 points and 1.9 rebounds during his time with the Rockets.

Despite averaging only six minutes per game, Marjanović was able to make an impact on the court. His teammate Paul Silas also highlighted Marjanović ‘s positive attitude, even in the team’s most difficult moments.

“I am glad he is getting the recognition around the league for being a great person and a great teammate,” Silas said. “I was with him in Dallas, and he was the same way. He brightens the room when he comes in. He is just an amazing person.”

“For our group, he is so important. He works and is always ready. During times of adversity, he claps those big hands to get everyone straight. There is not a person who have come across Boban who doesn’t love him. That’s an amazing trait to have.”

As the season ended, Boban Marjanović officially became an unrestricted free agent back in July 2023.
