According to ESPN, Bryce James, the youngest child of James and Savannah James, is moving from Sierra Canyon High School in Los Angeles to Campbell Hall High School in Studio City, California, for his junior year.
Prospect David Grace, a 6-foot-5, 165-pound head coach at Campbell Hall who was hired in April, will oversee the player’s performance. Grace has experience coaching both at the high school and university levels. She most recently served as the head coach of Centennial High School in Peoria, Arizona, during the 2017–18 school year. From 2008 to 2013, Grace worked as an assistant at Oregon State, UCLA, California, Vanderbilt, and California, an article on USA today reported.
Hall director of athletics Kris King said “With David’s experience at high major college programs and his skill development success with middle and high school players, we are confident that David will build upon our culture and lead our program both on and off the court,” (H/T to USA Basketball)
Together with his brother Bronny, who made a commitment to play collegiate basketball at USC, Bryce James, 15, participated in Sierra Canyon’s last basketball season. The 2022–23 roster also included Justin Pippen, son of NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen.
Richard Hamilton II, the son of former NBA great Richard Hamilton, and Baron Bellamy, the son of comedian Bill Bellamy, will partner up with Bryce James. James wants to play in the NBA, just like his brother does.
