Recent statements by Blank on Sirius XM radio underscore his dedication to this innovative project, heralding an exhilarating new era for golf. “This new opportunity combines golf in a unique format, merging technology in a way that appeals to a broader audience. Young individuals relate through technology, making it a gateway to golf for those without five hours to spare,” he expressed.

The Home Depot co-founder, Blank, has transitioned from influencing retail to owning the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and MLS’s Atlanta United. His ownership news spread rapidly, enhancing his impressive resume.

The historic partnership of Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and businessman Mike McCarley led to TMRW Sports in 2022. The TGL golf league, debuting in 2024, features a circuit with six teams of four players engaging in 18 holes of virtual golf.

This ingenious fusion of sports and technology holds potential to revolutionize golf. The Tiger Woods league unfolds over four months, featuring elite PGA Tour players competing weekly. Matt Fitzpatrick, Jon Rahm, and Justin Thomas are among them. A-listers like Stephen Curry, Serena Williams, and Justin Timberlake also join as sponsors, creating a compelling blend of sports and entertainment.

The league will launch with six teams each consisting of three PGA TOUR players competing in a two-hour team golf competition, offering a fresh approach to the sport with a focus on technology, innovation, and fan engagement.
