As we mentioned about Korn Ferry Tour in our previous articles, we have one of their events being The BMW Charity Pro-Am which is presented by TD SYNNEX. This golf tournament is one of the oldest on the tour. This edition 2022 is going to be played at the Thornblade Club in Greer and The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg. The tournament is set to begin on 9th June 2022.

BMW Charity Pro-Am 2022 is being funded hugely by the Non- Profit Foundation South Carolina Charities Inc. The moto for them is to showcase the beauty of Upstate South Carolina and the Hospitality of its citizens to the world. The event is going to be consisting of professional athletes and world-renowned celebrities. BMW Charity Pro-Am 2022, Everything you need to know.

Since 2001, the organization has distributed more than $14.3 million to numerous Upstate SC non-profit organizations. The format of the event was changed in the year 2001, to Pro-am, which made it move to Travelers Rest, South Carolina, Later on, in 2008, the tournament had to be shifted to three different courses: Thornblade Club, Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina and Bright’s Creek Golf Club in Mill Spring, North Carolina.

The 2022 edition is going to be played at Thornblade Club in Greer and The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg. The course is measured to be 7,040 yards in length, the format of the game being the same as Stroke play, with the players completing the course by hitting the ball minimum times into the holes. The tournament will conclude by 12th June 2022

BMW Charity Pro-Am 2022 Prize Money Breakdown

The 2017 purse was $700,000, with $126,000 going to champion Stephan Jäger. Since 2002, the tournament has been sponsored by German car manufacturer BMW, which has an edition that is going to be played at an assembly plant in Spartanburg County.
