Christian Coleman has emerged as one of the big names predicted to bring athletic victory to the United States at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He is a three-time gold medallist at the World Championships, who recently established his claim to the top spot on the podium.

Coleman has been making some bold statements lately, particularly after his recent victory at the Xiamen Diamond League. He predicted that Usain Bolt’s record in the event wouldn’t remain at the top for very long after winning the men’s 100-meter sprint at the competition. Following this bold claim, fans did not hesitate to make jokes and mock the athlete. 

Coleman breaking records 

At the 2019 Super Bowl, Christian ran the 40-yard sprint in 4.22 seconds, shattering the record for the fastest man in the world. Christian Coleman showed his abilities even before the Xiamen Diamond League, winning gold in the men’s 60-meter dash at the 2024 World Indoor Championships. Now that he has defeated the Jamaican in one event, he will undoubtedly feel more confident to do so in other competitions as well. 

With his most recent accomplishment, Coleman clearly demonstrated why he is among the top candidates for the gold medal at the next Olympics in Paris.

Bolt’s 19.19 world record is still a challenge for anyone hoping create a new world record. With so many daring remarks coming from athletes, only time will tell if any of these celebrities are able to beat out Bolt and take the throne for themselves.
