India Wins their eighth U-19 Asia Cup Title
The 9th edition of the Under-19 ACC Asia Cup was played in the United Arab Emirates. The cricket tournament was started on 23rd December 2021. After 15 matches played by 8 teams, the finals of the tournament were played on 31st December 2021 Between Sri Lanka and India. India won the match and took hold of their eighth Trophy.
Harnoor Singh Pannu was named as the man of the series. Indian Batsman Shaik Rasheed was the top run-scorer in the tournament with 133 runs and Zeeshan Zameer of Pakistan took the most number of Wickets in the tournament which was 11.

The Sri Lankan team won the toss and elected to bat first. Batsmen were not able to perform in front of Indian Bowlers and they posed a small target of 106 runs in 38 overs. The rest of the innings was unable to play due to rain and the target was revised to 102 runs in 38 overs which was a pretty achievable target.
The Indian team lost Harnoor Singh at an early stage, but they managed to win the match in 21.3 overs. Angkrish Raghuvanshi (56 not out) and Shaik Rasheed (31 not out) helped Team India win the title. This was India’s eighth title and is the most successful team in Men’s Under-19.
