With only a few days left for India’s biggest Cricket tournament, everyone is hyped up as IPL is back and this time it is bigger and better. This year’s IPL is sponsored by TATA and has expanded to 10 teams with the addition of two new teams from Gujarat and Lucknow. Squads have been rebuilt and our favorite Players may be playing for another team now.
The 2022 IPL will be entirely played in Maharashtra. The league stages will start from 26th March 2022 and will be played in Mumbai and Pune. Finals will be played on 29th May 2022. 74 matches will be played by 10 teams before the winner of the 15th edition is decided. Chennai Super Kings are current Champions of the league and Mumbai Indians are the most successful team.
Gujarat Titans is one of the two new teams introduced in the 15th edition of IPL. Titans are based in the city of Ahmedabad and is owned by Steve Koltes, Donald Mackenzie, and Rolly van Rappard. Hardik Pandya is the captain of the team and Ashish Nehra is the coach. They play their home matches in Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat.

Gujarat Titans received the second-highest bid of 5625 Crores. The bid was awarded to CVC Capital Partners. The company is owned by Steve Koltes, Donald Mackenzie, and Rolly van Rappard and is the current owners of Gujarat Titans. Former Indian player, Ashish Nehra is appointed as the head coach of the Gujarat Titans.
