There are going to be 32 teams participating in the league with 82 matches scheduled to play over a period from October to July.

NHL Playoffs 2022 Details
Soon after the regular season of NHL season for 2021-22 on 29th April, the Playoffs is scheduled to begin on 2nd May, after 3 days. The matches are going to be held in Canada. In the previous season of NFL, we saw that the Playoffs were not conducted in the same traditional way, due to the pandemic.
However it is not the case this time, there are going to be 8 teams playing from each conference for a spot in the NFL 2022 season. The criteria also add that there will be top three teams from each division, and then two Wild Card teams will earn the final two spots in each conference.

How can I watch the 2022 NHL playoffs?
As we know that the fans eagerly wait for the NFL season to begin. So the officials have already made contracts for the telecasting of all the games. The games will be telecasted worldwide according to Canadian time. The NHL signed new TV deals this past summer with Disney (ESPN, ABC) and Turner Sports (TNT, TBS).
The matches will be telecasted on different channels and through different sources, as a result, half of the games in the first three rounds will be on TNT and half will be on either ESPN or ABC.
