The latest edition of the Top 10 Most Searched Athletes has been released, and the tennis player leading the rankings is world No. 2 player Alcaraz.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic is currently ahead of Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz in the Pepperstone ATP rankings, with Djokovic currently holding an advantage of 11,045 points in contrast to Alcaraz’s 8,805 points. However, in the rankings of the most searched athletes, their roles have been reversed.
The ranking was the result of an OLBG team study and was determined by looking at how frequently each player’s name was typed into social media over the course of the previous 12 months. Alcaraz placed seventh with 60.4 million searches, and Djokovic placed eighth with 58.1 million searches.

Federer on Alcaraz: βHe’s doing fantasticβ
Despite failing to advance into the final rounds of the China Open and Shanghai Rolex Masters, Federer commended Alcaraz for his achievements.
βAnd I think Carlos, he’s done as well as he possibly could have so far. And he’s going to lose some time to time, like here in Shanghai. But he’s doing fantastic. He’s got a great game & obviously an unbelievable future ahead of him,β Federer said.
Roger Federer says itβs normal for Carlos Alcaraz to lose from time to time:
βAlcaraz is great. I mean, look, he's still young & everything that he has achieved is fantastic. And not just on clay or just on hard. But also now winning Wimbledon against Novak in the final.. thatβ¦ pic.twitter.com/7aUHCOXD5Y

Alcaraz recently dropped out of the Swiss Indoors in Basel due to an inflammation of his left foot’s sole and issues with his gluteal muscles.
Unfortunately I will not be able to play in Basel this year! π₯² I have a problem with the plantar fascia in my left foot and muscle fatigue in my lower back which need treatment so I can play the rest of the season. I hope to see you all soon! pic.twitter.com/44MvsjQDVn
