The upcoming PGA Tour includes the most exciting golfing tournament which is Wells Fargo Championship going to be held in Mexico. The tournament is going to be held at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm. The tournament begins on Thursday, May 5th, 2022. This year we will have the defending champion Rory McIlroy who will be looking forward to winning this tournament as well.

As we know that the championship begins on 5th May 2022, the officials have announced the entire schedule of the tournament as well. There are going to be 4 rounds that will be played over the four days of the tournament. The first will begin at 2 pm. The prize money which is accumulated for this is been recorded as the highest amongst the previous season.

Apart from the perks and the Cup of the competition given to the winner of the tournament, he is also entitled to a held sum as prize money. The player that ranks 1 will earn $1,620,000 and his caddie will earn $162,000. The player that comes second, as a runner-up of the tournament will be awarded $950,000 and his caddies with $76,000. Meanwhile, the player that is ranked at 3rd and 4th position in the tournament will be rewarded with $600,000 and $452,000 respectively and their caddie also will be given his share of $42,000 and $27,120 respectively.
