The Misfits Boxing Series 004 headliner on DAZN from inside OVO Arena Wembley in London, England, is slated for January 14, 2023. KSI and Dillon Danis were supposed to hold their launch news conference on Thursday to help promote their forthcoming boxing match.
Danis skipped the press event, leaving KSI to handle things by themselves.
KSI’s remarks about Danis
“I think it’s pretty disappointing and disrespectful to me and everyone else who is here expecting him to show up,” KSI remarked in reference to Dillon Danis’ absence at the moment.
“The same thing happened to Alex Wassabi, so it’s not anything I’ve never seen before. Danis may have been pursued by the same traveling police who detained Tommy Fury.
I don’t know, maybe it’s my presence, maybe it’s just me in general, I’m such a terrifying guy,” KSI said.
“We were going to fight and he obviously flaked.
“I can see that I’m really focused and disciplined, and if you look at my resume, I don’t lose a lot of games. So, I believe that’s trickling in for Dillon. Alternately, it’s possible that Danis is still recuperating from this beating in Texas.
KSI then added, “I know he’s undefeated himself, but I think looking at me in the eyes even when we met in Texas I could tell it was all a facade. “He had to act bigger and stronger than he actually is, and it kind of exposes with him not being here, how little he really is, how small his attitude really is.”
“He claims I’m not a real fighter, yet I’m always here and prepared, and although he is a ‘real fighter,’ he hasn’t taken the time to fly to see me. He hasn’t even dialled my zoom number to come to see me because he is afraid and petrified of me.”
