After a period of 3 years F1 race is back in the street of Melbourne, Australia, which will be welcoming a new edition of F1 cars. This weekend we will watch the 3 races of the Grand Prix 2022 contest, at Albert Park in Melbourne.

The F1 Australian Grand Prix 2022 will begin on Friday 8th of April when there are 2 practice races scheduled. The main race will be held on Sunday, 10th April 2022. As we know that the Grand Prix 2022 is going to have its third race in Australia scheduled after a period of 3 years because of the pandemic. The race is going to be held at Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit in Melbourne, which has been the host since 1996. They have the contract for hosting the Grand Prix till 2025.

Here is the schedule of the race. IT includes the practice races and the main race timings as well. So have a quick look at it.

Friday April 8: 

• Practice 1 (1:00pm-2:00pm)
• Practice 2 (4:00pm-5:00pm)

Saturday April 9: 

• Practice 3 (1:00pm-2:00pm),
• Qualifying (4:00pm-5:00pm)

Sunday, April 10: 

• Race (3:00 pm)

Tickets for F1 Australia Grand Prix 2022

The race is going to be on a Sunday since it is on a weekend there be many people who will be willing to watch the race with their families and friends. Also, as we near the date of the race we know that it will be difficult to get a ticket at the last minute as most tickets are sold out for the Australian Grand Prix. It is noted that there are 130,000 fans expected to be present on the day of the race on Sunday in Albert Park.

When F1 Race dates are announced people are excited to know whether the tickets for the race are available on site. It was known to us that the tickets went for sale as early as November and the first batch of the tickets for initial Grand Stand seats all sold out. The demand for the seats was increasing so for this reason, there were 5 new grandstands that were made available. Surprisingly they too were sold out soon after the day of the release.
