Womens T20 Challenge is an annual domestic cricket tournament for Women organized by BCCI. This tournament is also called Women’s IPL and was started in 2018 with 3 teams. This tournament will expand in 2023 will 6 teams and will be known as Women’s IPL. IPL Trailblazers are the current Champions and IPL Supernovas are the most successful team.
2022 Womens T20 Challenge will be the fourth edition of the tournament which is scheduled to start on 23rd May 2022 and will be played till 28th May 2022. Three teams will play a total of 4 matches before the winner is decided. All the matches will be played at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Womens T20 Challenge is a tournament organized for women by BCCI. The tournament is contested by 3 teams but they are not based in any cities in India. Below is the complete list of teams that are part of the Women’s T20 Challenge.
IPL Supernovas
IPL Supernovas is a Women’s Cricket Team that Competes in the Women’s T20 Challenge. The team was formed in 2018 and is the most successful team winning the title twice in 2018 and 2019. The team is captained by Harmanpreet Kaur and coached by WV Raman. They were the winners of the inaugural edition of the Women’s T20 Challenge.
IPL Trailblazers
IPL Trailblazers are an Indian Women’s Cricket team founded in 2018. They compete in the Women’s T20 Challenge and are the current Champions of the Women’s T20 Challenge. The team is Captained by Smriti Mandhana and coached by Biju George. They beat the Supernovas by 16 runs in the finals.
IPL Velocity
IPL Velocity is an Indian Women’s Team that Competes in the Women’s T20 Challenge and was founded in 2019. The team is Captained by Mithali Raj and is Coached by Mamatha Maben. They reached the finals in their first season but failed to win. Velocity has not won any trophies yet and is still in the hunt for its first trophy.

The Womens T20 challenge is a Triangular cricket series match where only three teams will face off each other this will be the 4th season of the tournament.
